Day 2 of School, Painting, Jacks Haircut and More!

Gracie had another great second day of school last Friday and she keeps telling me, "Mommy I think you forgot to take me to school today!" I really didnt forget she goes Thursday and Friday!


And we wanted Jack to feel special so Gracie and I took him to the boy haircut place and he loved all the attention! He was also thrilled not to be at that girl place Sweet and Sassy! Jack is also asking to wear "onionwear" also known  as underwear. He is so proud!

Yesterday I recieved a birthday box from my parents and the kids got fun treats too which they just loved...and Gracie painted a dolphin today and painted her face and body! So fun!

Enjoy some pictures! We are all back to life and survived a bad tummy bug...somehow Jack never got or he was just too busy to have it slow him down!

One quick Gracie funny...She informed me why Jack was crying earlier...it was that he finally realized he cant marry me Mom!

Our First's First Day of Preschool!

Gracie was so excited about her First Day of School today and it could not have gone any better! Gracie made new friends right away and had so much fun! We are so proud of her and love hearing all the things she learned about and all about her new teachers and friends! Gracie told us last night she was so excited but also a lil nervous. She was such a big girl and walked right in and started having fun! She met a sweet boy first and they did play doh together and then in walked a cute little girl Olivia and Gracie loved playing with her and told me that she wishes Santa would bring her a dress like Olivias! And Gracie was so excited to find her name on her cubby and on the wall!

Jack was sad to leave his best friend "Gaycee" but soon perked up when he met his friend Cole and his Mommy for a coffee date. The two boys were so good and had fun together talking about Elmo! While Jack and I walked back to get Gracie at her school the two directors said,  "Oh Gracie belongs to you, we just love her and she sure can talk...she told us all about her First Day of school treats she got! She is going to do wonderful in her class!" So glad to hear good things from the Director!!

Were excited for this new chapter in Gracies life and ours...Our big Preschooler girl! Or as Gracie says Im the Princess Preschooler!!

Happy Labor Day & Happy Anniversary to Grandma & Grampa!

Happy Labor Day weekend!!! And Happy Anniversary to my sweet and wonderful role model parents!! They are incredible parents and we look to them as such good examples and hope to be just like them after 35 plus years of marriage!!!

We have had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and enjoyed Daddy being home on Monday. Even though he wasnt on call he went to the hospital a couple of times but we have had a great time and gone to the gym, had a cook out with friends, dinner with Barrys doctor and family, went to Wonderwild and we even went for a long family walk since the weather has cooled down to the low 80's! It feels amazing out and I am actually cold since my body is so use to these 100 plus days! The kids just love being able to run around outside again and play with their friends!

Gracie's Meet and Greet!

Last Wednesday Gracie got to meet her two teachers and she is so lucky to have such sweet amazing teachers Ms. Melissa and Ms. Corky. We got so lucky and now we know we made the right choice in schools for her! We cant wait to start on Thursday!

PS...Gracie took her Texas size bow off before she walked in the door!
