Christmas 2012

Well Christmas 2012 will be one we never forget. We were all packed and ready a week before our trip to California to celebrate Christmas with our families. The kids had been counting down since June to return to Cali! And I knew it would be our last trip until baby Grant was born. Barry complained of back pain and I thought oh hes fine! Well turned out it was more serious and he had a ruptured disc with fragments sitting on his nerve and in a matter of two days had lost feeling in his big toe and left leg. So we acted quick and got into my friends hubbys office and Barry had back surgery to help relieve the pain and get feeling back in his nerves! He had surgery on Friday before Christmas and we had to cancel our trip to get him better. Barrys mom flew out to help with Barry and the kids and 6 months prego me!

Saturday Barry came home and I thought things were looking better and was trying to be more positive and keep the Christmas spirit alive and happy for the kids. Then Sunday morning I woke up to a message from my mom that my sweet 92 year old Grandma fell and was in the ICU. My mom flew up to be with her. So it wasnt the Christmas we invisioned...my first Christmas in 32 years not being with my parents or brother, my parents first time in 44 years and Barrys parents as well. But Gracie and Jacks love for Santa and Christmas made me smile and all the effort to make them happy was worth it! Christmas morning I woke up at 7am to Jack yelling Mommy Santa came and gave me and Gracie a bike, cars and presents come see come see!!!!

Before Christmas Fun!

We sure had a lot of early Christmas fun here from going to Santas Wonderland to see the millions of lights, went on the Polar Express train ride, went to the Gaylord Texan hotel, had breakfast with Santa, got to ride real camels at school and more! Here are some fin pictures to share!
