Prince Charming

Lately there has been a lot of Prince Charming talk from Ms. Gracie..she was telling me that someday when shes older like Friday shes going to marry Prince Charming. I said oh wow what is he like...she said, "Oh hes very sweet to me, he works at Biotronik, puts pacemakers in and helps peoples heart and even puts plants in the hospital too!" I said hmmm he sounds like Mommys Prince Charming too...Gracie said oh Mommy are you going to marry soon too? She was shocked that I was old enough to marry! And even though shes sees our wedding pictures and my ring etc couldnt believe I was married to Daddy!

Love all the funny stories Gracie tells us. And she told Barry and I over the weekend that Grandpa is Jesus! She has still not forgotten about that mean boy at the park who told her she wasnt a princess. But she told him alright! Gracie stands up for herslef. But it still made me so sad to see her say with her lil sad pouty lip, that boy said I am not a princess and I am Snow White Mommy. And a random sweet mom said. "You are a princess, only princesses hold a purse with lip gloss!" And yesterday at Gap she got a compliment from a sweet older lady that she had never seen a lil girl match outfits and shop like that! Love our lil princess and so proud of all the new things shes learning and doing!

And Jack says nine now when Gracie counts! Cannot believe my sweet lil prince is 14 months old now! So proud of my lil man and told Barry that in Jacks whole 14 months he has never done a thing wrong and hes my sweet happy boy I fall more in love with each day! So proud of him and all the new words he is saying and how he just loves life!

My sweet friend Juli that I was so lucky to meet the first week we moved here and in my same position, just moving to The Woodlands for her hubbys job, leaving behind all her family and friends in Dallas and we have the girls the same age and she has Luke (5) and he is so good to Jack (Gracie too!)...and baby #3 in July! She is not only a wonderful friend but a photographer as well, but taking time off and just photographing her lil cuties as she is a busy mom of soon to be three!

Happy Tuesday!

Cannot believe its April this week! Yesterday we had such a fun day...we were all set last minute to go Strawberry picking in the country about 45 mins away and thankfully before we left Juli checked and they were closed so we quickly changed our plans to go to the mall..then Juli called and said after registering Olivia for school she found this fun Safari play area at the church. So we met her and the kids there..we soon found out it was the moms club we wanted to look into so last minute put all 4 kids into the nursery school in differenet classes and they all had so much fun while Juli and I enjoyed meeting the other Moms in Moms Time Out! The kids all loved it and the moms got to chat and have coffee!

We then had lunch and took the kids to market street and they loved shopping in all the stores!

And today Mr. Barry has two cases, were so proud of him 3 cases now in less than 30 days in his new territory!!! Go Barry/Daddy!!!

Famous Texas Blue Bonnets!

We had to take some pictures in the famous blue bonnets today! There is a nice field of them by the house so we wanted to get some pictures today. Totally gave up on getting them together! And Jack wanted to pick and taste all the blue bonnets! My favorite part is when Jack stood on the bench and shook his head and said no,no, no,no! Least he knows thats a no no but still loves giving mommy an almost heart attack!

Dinner & The Evans House...and Feeding the Crazy Duck!

Last night Barry had a doctor dinner so the Evans were so sweet to have me and the kids over for dinner. The kids had so much fun and we went for a fun walk to the lake after dinner to feed the crazy duck. My cautious Gracie sat and giggled from the wagon as the duck chased Luke and Olivia around! And Jack just watched and is so entertained by all the kids!

Sparkly Clean Teeth!

Wow..Gracie's First Trip to the Dentist a Major Success! So proud of Gracie...poor Jack was dying to have the dentist touch his teeth and kept pointing and touching his so he ended up with 3 dental assitants flirting with him the whole time! Gracie was so good the dentist was so impressed and he told Gracie she was cavity free, does a great job brushing and has perfect teeth! Gracie told me that the Dentist gave her a note that said.."Gracie youre the best the Dentist has ever seen and you have no catheters, I am so proud of you!" And she got a bag, water bottle and toothbrush. Mommy even likes the dentist although he trained at UCLA :) but hes great and from LA!

Shes beaming about her white teeth and that she gets to play with Katie her babysitter. They are busy planting princess flowers and plants. Jack cant figure out what they are doing and he is yelling ball, ball, ball! And tonight Daddy has a dinner with doctors so our sweet friends invited us over for dinner.

Proud Mama!

Today we had a fun playdate at a new park with Cole and Cade. Its very hard for two mama's to chat with 1 year olds 1 week apart and 3 year olds one month apart though! So while I was chasing Jack around to make sure he didnt jump off anything or wander off Gracie surprised me today as she wasnt glued to me like usual...she went up and made new friends and played and I was so proud as I overheard two lil incidents...one random 4 year old boy went up and pushed G out of the way and grabbed the steering wheel she was playing with and instead of she pushing or hitting back she said, "Hey thats not nice you need to take turns I am using it." And then while on some spider weby thing that you could climb (my cautious one..total opposite of Jack) was having fun at the bottom and this girl came up and said I want it move and Gracie calmy said, "It's my turn now and when I am done you can have a turn, ok?"

Very proud of my lil girl as she was the one who had the hardest time adjusting to the big move and couldnt understand why we cant see Grammie, Grampie, Meemo, Boppa, or our friends now. She knows we live in Texas, that they all live in California and that GG lives in Washington. She doesnt get that we cant just fly there tomorrow well we could but that would be hard to do daily!

And Jack just idolizes his big sis and loves doign whatever she is doing! She is his second lil mommy and double checks everything I do like at dinner walked over and said, Mommy you need to cut Jacks food smaller and she tore it all up for him!

Jack has no fear at all and today jumped off his train table twice and thought it was just the funniest thing! We need a VIP card to the ER with this lil man. He is such a sweet happy boy and love his happy personality that just loves life! Jack and Gracie are really enjoying their street now and we keep meeting nice new neighbors. Jack just loves the family two doors down and invites himself over all the time to play with their 3 cute kiddos!

Tomorrow is Gracie's 1st Trip to the Dentist! Wish us luck!

Making Cookies!

Gracie, Jack and I made cookies this afternoon! At first I was trying to tell Gracie how to make the cookies just perfectly on the tray but she told me its ok Mom I can do it. So Gracie arranged the cookies just the wat she wanted and they came out perfectly! Jack loved watching and was our lil helper!

Made me realize that sometimes you just have to let them do it there way and makes them so happy!

So Gracie had her smoothie this morning and told me..."Mom this is a great smoozchy, I just love it!" You have to hear how she says it, it ranks up there with ridicoulous! And then Jack everytime he sees a ball he yells with excitment BALL! Today it was so cute, I said Jack do you want to go to the gym and he ran over and got his shoes and tried to put on! The boy loves to go to the kids gym and outside! Love these two cuties and they are my best lil pals that give so much love and entertainment!

Medhawk Award!

Barry, Gracie and Jack surprised me Saturday night with an amazing crystal Medhawk award for 5 years of business! They surprised me since Medhawk had the 5 year Anniversary Jan 1st so I was totally caught off guard on what the gift and Congratulations balloons were for Saturday night. So sweet of all three of them! Gracie was so excited she helped Daddy with the surprise! And Jack thought the balloons were just the best thing ever!!

First Trip out of the Bubble!

Friday the kids and I left our lil Woodlands Bubble and met Jillian at the Galleria. She was an excellent tour guide of that mall and knew all the hot spots to hit like Nordys, Neimans, Dylan's Candy Store and more! Jillian is best friends with our sweet friend Linda Smith who the kids adore and Gracie just loved Jillian who was so good to the kids and treated them both to build a bear! Gracie was so excited and kept saing this is awesome! But lil Jack was also so excited and this was his first time getting to do it and he sure loved it! Gracie also helped Jillian make an army bear and Jillian is going to send to a soldier. The kids loved Dylans Candy store too! And the lil Niemans play structure to play and climb on, too cute! Well know that I know I can do it now so that could be dangerous! The Galleria is the the Texas size mall here!
