Grammie is Here!!! And the Big Recital!

Were so happy to have Grammie here for Gracie's doctor appointment, Gracie's recital and fun times with Grammie! Were so lucky to have seen Grandma every 3-4 weeks for the past at least 6 months! We all love it! And were going to have an easier time saying bye tomorrow since we will see her in Cali in one week! It will give Grammie time to rest up before the circus arrives!!!

Gracie was in her first big ballet recital Saturday and did amazing! No stage frieght for this lil ballerina! She just loved it and did so well! There were 77 acts Saturday and another 68 on Sunday, it was a TEXAS size ballet recital at the big outdoor concert pavillion!

Happy Happy News!!!

Grandma is here and was so helpful in taking Gracie to the Medical Center in Houston on Friday to see her Urologist. We saw a ped Urologist last month to follow up to Gracie's kidney deflex surgery in December 2010...he wanted to recheck Gracie since her grade of deflux usually puts her at risk for the surgery not working as successful. So I began to worry that in the past year and a half it was causing kidney damage etc...we went to the Urologist and had a kidney and bladder ultrasound and got the most wonderful news..Gracie is perfect!!!

Grandma and I were so proud of Gracie and she was so good for the ultrasound! She asked the ultrasound tech and Doctor if they were going to give any shots and then was reassured and relaxed and played on the iphone. And the ultrasound tech told her she had the cutest panties shes ever seen, that made Gracie's day! Gracie is cleared from having to see the Urologist now unless theres any other issues! She was probably one of the few one year olds saying..."no catheter...no pee in cup!" So glad to be done with that and so relieved our sweet girl is healthy! And thank you Jack for sleeping in the stroller through the whole appointment! Gracie was so happy about her good news and loved telling everyone!

Our New Home In The Making!

Doesnt look like much now but this is the start of our new house! We have walked all of our lil footprints on this lot and now the foundation is poured so our footprints will be there forever! Gracie and Jack are very excited to see the house start to look like a house and not a dirt lot :)

Its starting to look like a house now...we have walls, windows, doors, a roof and AC...we can move in now! The kids are enjoying seeing the daily progress now! Gracie asks why the workers are eating in our building and Jack always says thanks guys for building my house, good job!

Happy Birthday Dear Daddy/Barry!

We had a fun week of celebrating Daddy's Birthday! We all had a wonderful time from celebrating with his parents, friends, family spaghetti dinner and on his real birthday we had the most fablous steak dinner at Kelly & Rex's with yummy food and friends! We all love Barry's birthday! 35 is going to be a great year for him...were so proud of how well he's doing at work and we feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends here in The Woodlands to make life so fun and busy! And loved getting all the calls, texts and videos from friends and family in Cali to wish Mr B a special happy day. We will see you all in 12 days YEA!!!!
